Anybody interested in fishing off a kayak? That's about the only way I get out on mine. Ocean or lake is fine. My kayak is the ocean touring type, and I have a similar smaller one that I could bring along for someone else or even sell because my wife isn't interested in it.
I seldom look at a computer, but if I don't respond quickly, contact Virgil because I bet he'll want to go too.

Good to hear from you. Kayaker's won't count for the floating air bed photo shoot, but it will fun to people in Kayaks there. I will be available this weekend as well, and hope others will decide to attend.

Hi Yakers! It looks like June 13 is a possibility for me. I also like the idea of June 20 as an alternative, and plan on being at the event, but will kayakers count for the mattress photo?

I will ping Kayak Connection to see what a group rate would entail for those who want to rent. There are a few who own their own Kayaks, so we should probably start with who need to rent and who owns?

KA Robinson,

The Weekend of June 13 would probably work best for me. We have a new member who recently joined, Ash, who would also like to get out sometime in the next couple of weeks. If these date don't work for everyone perhaps June 20th, 2009 would work. That is the day we are hosting the World Record Photo Shoot at Cowell's Beach. It would be great to have a small armada of Kayaks out there.

Virgil, Glenn, I'm trying to nail down a date to go out on the water in Santa Cruz. I'm thinking Sunday June 7th or Saturday June 13. Virgil is it possible to get some prices so I can give my friends idea of the rates in Santa Cruz. I have two other couples interested in joining us.

I have a kayak,(ocean), so I'll go if I can get some time and an invitation.
I also have a lake or ocean kayak for a small man or woman, ( my wife is not interested in kayaking), that I'd consider selling or bringing along for someone else. It's 12 or13' long with a non-steering, drop down rudder, with a relatively flat bottom making it easy for a beginner. This kayak is out of town, but I can bring it back next time I visit up north.
I keep my kayak here with me with the intent of useing it reguarly, but I "haven't had time" in a couple of years, so I'm hoping this will get me out there more.

Wrenna Saturday May 16 or Saturday 23 work for us? I just spoke with my Wife (Cindy) and these dates will work for her. I believe I have another couple that would love to join use as well but they are out of town and I can't confirm from them until Friday of this week. Virgil will either of these dates work for you and the family? Leonard
